Shape-shifting, a concept both ancient and universal, is the alteration in form or substance of any animate object. Mayo artists Jane Williams and Mags Duffy explore unknown worlds, silent language and metamorphic spaces in this fascinating joint exhibition.

Jane Williams was born in Ormskirk in northwest England, and has been living in Louisburgh, Co Mayo, since 1996. Co-owner of Solas Upstairs Gallery in Louisburgh, she has exhibited work in The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar, and Green Fuse Gallery, Westport. Upcoming shows include an exhibition at the Custom House Studios Gallery early next year.

Mags Duffy hails from Westport and studied in Galway and the Crawford College of Art, Cork. She has been involved in teaching and community arts projects, and has exhibited work in the Custom House Studios Gallery, The Linenhall Arts Centre, the Clew Bay Hotel Gallery and Green Fuse Gallery.
