Friday, October 22. @ 19:00 – 22:00
On Friday night, you are invited to a candlelight three course feast to celebrate October’s harvest of ancient seed, fruits, wild cockerel and hare, accompanied by poetic performances to help aid digestion.
Padraic Gannon of Croagh Patrick Seafoods will be shucking oysters, Karen of the TEACH will be shaping ancient seeded breads and slow cooking local game whilst pastry chef extraordinaire Beth O’ Brien shall be creating dessert made with locally grown fruits and roots.
Ed Forristal will also be mixing some drinks from the cocktail horsebox outside, for anyone looking to make things extra special.
Alongside the culinary treats, actor Ronan Carey will be performing some poems and spoken word pieces inspired by the supper, and joining the diners for some interesting conversation. Since 2016, Ronan has been the narrator of the hit comedy podcast Dreamgun: Film Reads, touring to Edinburgh, London, and Adelaide, Australia. He is a founding member of the comedy theatre MOB Dublin, which has been producing improvisational and alternative comedy since 2018.
