Kintsugi - McGing's Open Art Exhibition

Westival invites you to submit work for this years McGings open exhibition, ‘Kintsugi’.  We hope that with your creativity, ‘Kintsugi’ will be the panacea to the 2019 Festival theme, “Brittle /Fragile”.

Now in its 12th year, the much loved McGings Open Exhibition returns. This year exploring the theme Kintsugi; the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery and adorning its scars with precious metals. It is the art of embracing damage and not discarding broken things, of cherishing the imperfect and loving the mended. The concept is a beautiful take on the festivals Brittle / Fragile arts theme.
