Join writer, journalist and Horslips drummer Eamonn Carr and author and investigative journalist Frank Connolly for an early-bird dinner where they explore Connolly’s novel ‘A Conspiracy of Lies’.
In May 1974, Connolly witnessed at first hand the mayhem and terror brought by the bombings that rocked the heart of Dublin. Forty-five years later he has published ‘A Conspiracy of Lies’, a novel that vividly captures that day and the impact that it has on protagonists Angie and Joe. This gripping tale evokes the heartache, the intrigue, the chaos and the conspiracies of this troubled time in our near history.
Carr and Connolly will read a selection of passages from the book and speak about the Dublin and Monaghan bombings and the enduring impact of these atrocities right up to the present day.
Tickets €40 includes dinner in the excellent Clew Bay Hotel.
