Artist Jimmy Lawlor hosts a workshop in focusing on various painting techniques, including composition, color and texture. He will be demonstrating in acrylic paint.
Jimmy Lawlor lives in Westport and has been exhibiting for over 20 years. His much-loved widely praised work has been likened to the works of the surrealists, with surreal or dreamlike compositions wrought in a painterly style imbued with realism – often with a healthy dash of humour.
Lawlor’s art can be found in many prestigious corporate collections, including Government Buildings, Treasury Holdings, Diageo Ireland, Great Southern Hotel Group and Anglo Irish Bank, London, as well as the private collections of such luminaries as Brenda Fricker, Dermot Desmond and Hugh Leonard.
