Multi-award-winning photographer Michael McLaughlin shares his boundless knowledge of photography in this intensive and comprehensive workshop.
McLaughlin’s work encompasses many different genres and crosses the worlds of both commercial and fine art photography. During his 20-year career, his photographs have been published worldwide and have also featured on the front pages of the national newspapers. He continues to exhibit prints in solo and group exhibitions.
All skill levels welcome from beginners to experienced photographers. Topics covered include camera settings, setup and technique; understanding exposure, colour temperature and white balance; working in manual mode, long exposure, ND and graduate filters; post production; monitor calibration and colour profiles; Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Silver Efex.
The workshop will be split into two sessions, Landscape Sunrise Photography Training and Post-Processing Training. Ticket price includes lunch. There will be an informal introductory welcome meeting in the gallery on Sat Oct 26th, 6pm.
