Patrick O’Laoghaire is an Irish song-writer, composer, writer and performer. He has performed worldwide under the moniker I Have a Tribe, collaborating with acts such as Villagers, Clare Sands and Leslie Feist. O’Laoghaire has performed in Wembley Stadium, 3 Arena Dublin, (with Bon Iver), NCH, Vicar Street, CCI Paris, amongst others.
His work has received critical acclaim, described as “deep, honest, generous and playful.” Fishamble Theatre Company have presented O’Laoghaire’s work elsewhere; his long poem/music composition “Change” inspired by the landscape of the west, was adapted for short-film starring Olwen Fouéré, Pat Kinevane and Mary Murray.
