A Westival special of the library's popular monthly poetry and prose open mic event.
This is an opportunity to share your own writing, poetry or prose that is special to you. Each contributor has 5 minutes maximum and sign-ups are on the day. The approach is supportive with no critiquing between readings and there is an opportunity to chat afterwards with free tea and coffee provided.
There is an optional theme of ‘Imagine A Library’ in celebration of 100 years of Mayo Libraries and in anticipation of Westport’s new library being built in the town!
Listeners and voices are all welcome.
