Join the West Mayo Writers for an evening celebrating local writing. Formed in 2019, the West Mayo Writers is writing group that meets monthly in Westport. After publishing their first journal of collected works in 2022, the group is delighted to launch their second collection on the opening night of Westival 2023. The event will begin with group members reading from the new collection followed by an open mic where local writers and literature lovers are encouraged to share their own work or read their favourite pieces from other writers.
